The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,
“Hosanna!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Blessed is the king of Israel!”

Today we are making palm branches and a stand up donkey to remind us of Jesus entering Jerusalem.
Materials Needed:
2 Wooden Clothes Pegs
Donkey printout
Green Paper
Lolly stick
Paint
Wool/String
Sticky Tape
Glue stick

Cut out, removing the legs and tail.
Colour donkey
Paint clothes pegs grey
Cut and stick wool/string onto donkey for mane and tail
Attach clothes pegs for legs as shown

Paint Lolly stick green
Cut green paper into thin leaf shapes
Stick Leaves onto lolly stick
